2. Open the Widgets section if not already opened (blue box in image to the left).

3. Choose the widget category required: Calendars, Groups, or Sign-up Forms.

4. Inside your chosen category, open the item you wish to work with.

5. Make sure you are in the Install tab.

6. To publish your item:

Option 1: Toggle on the Make this widget available to others button.
OR
Option 2: Click on the blue Publish button.

7. Click on the Hosted Link and Redirection to open it if needed.

Sharable URL: This is the URL to use in an email or any Instant Messenger App - like on a mobile phone.

If you want to use this URL, you can copy it by clicking Copy.

​Link Redirection: This allows you to link your church calendar or groups widget page directly to your church website. In other words, when people scan and use the QR code, the redirect is to your website instead of just your calendar or groups widget display.

To enable redirection, toggle on the Enable URL redirection button. It will turn yellow.

Type in your church website URL address and click Save.

You can use the URL of any website or webpage on which your Display.Church calendar view or groups widget is embedded.

Both the Shareable URL and QR Code will be updated. Now, instead of linking to your church calendar, your URL links to your church website. This can improve your SEO to get a better rating.

​NOTE: Display.Church is unable to check the URL you type in. So, we suggest you doublecheck it by using our preview option to ensure everything works smoothly. A quick check can save you from potential headaches down the road.
