During the integration setup, Display Church (D.C) will ask for permission to access the following Planning Center (PCO) items: People (mandatory), Calendar (to access your calendar events), and Groups (if you are using our Groups widget).
The person logged in to Display Church (D.C) must have PCO access to the permissions you are allowing. If not, there will be a Scopes issue.
โ
We strongly recommend creating a unique PCO profile just for the Display.Church--PCO integration. In this way, this user will always be with your organization regardless of staff changes within your church. We don't recommend using your own or an existing staff member or volunteer PCO profile for this integration.
Permissions issues (examples)
Below are two examples using the Groups widget. However, such situations could be the same for Calendars, Event Alerts, and Sign-up Forms.
Situation 1: You have enabled Groups in D.C, BUT the person logged in to D.C does not have Groups access in PCO.

Situation 2: The person logged in to D.C has Groups access in PCO, HOWEVER you have not enabled it in D.C.

Situation 3: The person logged in to D.C does not have Groups access in PCO, AND you have not enabled it in D.C.

Please make sure that the person logged in to D.C has access to Groups in PCO AND you have enabled Groups in D.C.

Here is a closer look at the PCO integration...
| Why do some integrations have gold crowns? The gold crown means that the integration is premium (only available with paid plans). |
