Display. Church (D.C) offers you several ways to feature events. Here are two.
I. FEATURED EVENTS BADGE
You use our Setup filters to tell D.C which events to feature. In Design, you toggle on the featured events badge. The images below show some examples:

II. FEATURED HIGHLIGHTS
Now you can give your featured events their own display above your main calendar view.
NOTE: This does not work if Infinite Scroll is toggled on.
The image below shows an example. The main calendar is Cards (Grid). The featured highlights template is Tiles.
HOW TO SET UP FEATURED EVENTS HIGHLIGHTS
| In the calendar view you wish to set this up for...
Step 1: Make sure you are in the Setup tab (yellow box in image to the left).
Step 2: Open the Featured Events section (blue box in image to the left). |
| Step 3: Toggle on the Show featured events button.
Step 4: Use the filters to choose your featured events. |
| In this same Featured Events section, just underneath, you will find the sub-section Featured highlights.
Step 6: Use Featured events limit to set the number of featured events highlights you wish to show at one time.
Step 7: Use Featured events highlight template to choose how you wish your featured events highlights to look. |
| Step 8: Click Save at the bottom of the column to confirm your choices. |
Design tip: Choose a featured event highlight template which is significantly different from your calendar view. This will help your highlights to stand out.
HOW TO WORK WITH FEATURED EVENTS HIGHLIGHTS
| Once in the Design tab (yellow box in image to the left), you will notice that there are TWO sections:
Click on the Featured highlights section to brand your featured highlights display. Notice the blue line underneath the section name. This tells you in which section you are editing. |
The design sections you will see will depend on the featured highlights template you chose. Basically, you edit this template in the same way as a calendar view.
