Some events have long descriptions with lots of information. We want all that on the Planning Center (PCO) Signup Page. In other words, when our people click on the event to go to the PCO Signup Page and see more. We DO NOT want all that stuff in the Display.Church Sign-up Forms view because it clutters up the page (and who wants to see all that info about an event they are not interested in, right?).
Use Limit summary lines to control how much info people will see in the Display.Church Sign-up Forms view. This limit will not affect how much information is displayed in PCO.
HOW TO GET TO THIS DESIGN FEATURE
Step 2: Click on the name of the sign-up form with which you wish to work.
| Step 3: Click on the Design tab.
Step 4: Click to open the Cards grid section. |
| Step 5: Scroll down to the Main information subsection.
Step 6: Make sure that Show summary is toggled on (the button will be blue). |
How to work with this design feature
Step 1: Toggle on Limit summary lines (the button will be blue).
Notice that another design feature is revealed: Number of lines to display.
Step 2: Use the up and down arrows to choose the number of summary (description) lines to display in the Display.Church Sign-up Forms view. |
