If your calendar display shows a Pushpay/CCB private event or a Planning Center (PCO) unpublished event, Display.Church will add a lock icon. This is a back-end feature. That means it is automatically placed by Display.Church, and partners are not able to customize it in any way.

You should only see the locks in your Dashboard and Preview views. They should not appear in your published calendar view.

Use case #1: It is a reminder for your team about the type of event.

Use case #2: Sometimes, people create both a public and private version of the same event. When they see both displayed, they wonder if there is a duplication issue. When they see neither, they wonder if the filters are hiding the event. This gives more info for troubleshooting.

What will the lock icon look like?

The appearance will vary depending on the calendar template. Here are some examples:

MONTHLY CALENDAR
The orange locks are to the left of the event name.

CARDS (LIST) CALENDAR
The blue locks appear in the top, right-hand corner of the event listing.

CARDS (GRID) CALENDAR
The blue locks appear in the top, right-hand corner of the event display. So, you might wish to move the dates to another location.
