HOW TO WORK WITH THIS DESIGN SECTION

Your options will depend on the calendar view you are working with. The reason is that displaying a card/view CTA in an aesthetic way depends on the layout of the card/view.

Cards (List) / Slider

Monthly view / Weekly view (Pills, Stacks, Events list) / Events list

Cards (Grid)

Detailed List

Tiles

(1) Which CTA and where?

Card call-to-action: This is the CTA which will appear in the calendar view.

Event details call-to-action: This is the CTA which will appear in the event details.

(2) Position

2a. Some of the views allow you to position your CTA button. The options are: left, center, and right.

Here is an example with the CTA button 'Contact organizer':

Left

Center

Right

2b. In Cards (Grid) there is an additional layer to position: Make button full width.
If you choose to make your button the entire width of the card, then you cannot chose its position. Logical, right? (Because you have used up all the available space.)

If you toggle on Make button full width, then the Position option will be hidden (see image to the left).

Here is an example of how the CTA button will look (see image to the left).

(3) CTA action

Open event page: For Pushpay/CCB, this opens to the relevant ccbchurch.com page. For Planning Center (PCO), this opens to the relevant churchcenter.com page.

Toggle on a button to see your 5 CTA options. Both buttons offer the same 5 options.

However, you do not have to choose the same option for both CTAs. For example, your card CTA could be Contact organizer while your Event details CTA could be the last URL from your event's description.

At the moment the Use default CTA button label button is toggled on. So, the text of the CTA will appear exactly as you chose.

Toggle off the button to see a text entry line. At the moment it says 'Learn more'. You can keep that or type in your own CTA button label.

WHEN USING THE 'OPEN EVENT PAGE' CTA OPTION

If the viewer clicks on the CTA (the Learn more button in the example above), they will be taken to the relevant page (URL) in Pushpay/CCB or PCO. If the viewer clicks anywhere else on the card, the events details pop-up will be triggered and will display.

If you do not want this confusion, simply toggle off 'Open event details as a pop-up. [Events section --> Event details subsection]

The viewer will still need to click on the Learn more button to get to the relevant page. However, if they click somewhere else on the event display, nothing happens. So they will be more inclined to click on the button.
