If your event has an address which is known to Google Maps, the app can retrieve a nice photo. This design feature allows you to show or hide this option.

This item applies to the Google Calendar integration.

To find this design item

After you log in to Display.Church...

Step 1: Click on Widgets to open your product options (if necessary).

Step 2: Click on Calendars.

Step 3: Choose the calendar you wish to modify.

Step 4: Click on Design (brown box below).

Step 5: Click on Events (brown box below).

Step 5: Scroll down until you find Show location's Google Maps photos if available.

Working with this design item

NOTE: This design item works INDEPENDENTLY of Show event location and Link location to Google Maps. In other words, you can display the photo even if you do not show the event location or link the location to Google Maps.

Toggle on the design item to show the photo (the button will turn blue).

Toggle off the design item to hide the photo.

NOTE >>>

When setting your event up in your Google Calendar, you need to make sure that you have chosen your location from Google’s location list. You do not have to, of course. However, if you do not, Google will not have a location photo and you will not see any image even if you toggle on the button.

Examples:

In the first example, the event location is not shown but the photo is. In the second example, the event location and photo are shown. In the third example, the event location is shown but the photo is not.
