Important information about the number of events shown overall

Overall, each calendar will display 12 months of events from the current date.

However, there are many ways to limit this.

(1) If Infinite scroll is toggled off and nothing else is toggled on, the scrolling will stop at the end of the month. In other words, if you are in October, no November events will be displayed. If this option is toggled on, DCE will display a continuous looping of all your events for the next 12 months from the current date.

(2) If you toggle on Infinite scroll and also toggle on Merge recurring events, you will not see the next occurrences of events which are already displayed in your calendar view. You would need to toggle off the Merge recurring events option to show occurrences which happen in future months.

(3) You can choose Show [#] upcoming events. So, for example, Show 6 upcoming events will show only 6 future events.

(4) Choosing Show current week events only will show only the events happening that week.

Show all events (brown box in image below)

***NOTE: Today is the 2nd of November.***

Choosing this option shows past, current, and future events. Click Save at the bottom of the column to save your changes.

As you can see below, hovering over the 1st of November (mouseover) in the full calendar view, displays a list of that day's events...even though that day is in the past.

Here's how that looks in weekly view:

Hovering over the 2nd of November in the full calendar view (mouseover), displays a list of the current day's events.

Hovering over the 3rd of November (mouseover) in the full calendar view, displays a list of events on a day in the future.

Show only upcoming events (blue box in image below)

***NOTE: Today is the 2nd of November.***

Choosing this option shows current and future events only. Click Save at the bottom of the column to save your changes.

As you can see below, hovering over the 1st of November (mouseover) in the full calendar view, does not display a list of that day's events because that day is in the past.

Here's how that looks in weekly view:

Limit displayed events

***NOTE: Today is the 15th of November.***

Show only upcoming events: Toggling this on will display only future events. In other words, events which are going to happen. Click Save at the bottom of the column to save your changes.

Show [#] upcoming events: When this option is toggled on, your calendar will display that number of future events.

EXAMPLE 1: This option is toggled on to show 3 upcoming events (brown box in image below). Note that if there are more events on the 15th, they will not be displayed.

EXAMPLE 2: This option is toggled on to show 5 upcoming events (brown box in image below). Note that a future date is included to bring the total to 5.

Click Save at the bottom of the column to save your changes.

Show current week events only: Choosing this option will show only the events for that calendar week. Click Save at the bottom of the column to save your changes.
