Display.Church (D.C) is an app which allows you to easily create beautiful, embeddable calendar views by integrating your Google Calendar (GCal) account. This integration automatically keeps your audience updated with your public and/or private events.

First of all, just so that we are on the same page...

You do not enter any data into Display.Church. Via our Google Calendar integration, we pull in your event data from your existing Google calendar(s).

Section 1: Creating a free account

Go to the Display.Church home page. You can check out our pricing page for more information or scroll down to the bottom of the home page and click on Get Started for Free.

Complete the form with your name, email, and password.

Then click Start Free Trial to begin the process.

Section 2: Activating your Display.Church account

2a. Have a look at the Configuration Checklist on your Dashboard. Click Activate account to start your free trial (brown box in image above).

2b. Then, go to your email. You should see a message from Display.Church. Make sure to check all your tabs including the Spam folder. If you do not see a message, return to your Dashboard and click Resend activation link (turquoise arrow above).

Click on the link in the email to activate your Display.Church account. The green circle with the check mark shows you that you have successfully activated your account (see image below).

Section 4: Creating your calendar views

Once your integrations are pulling your events in from your apps, it's time to enjoy setting up and customizing your calendar views. Here are two articles to help you:

Section 5: Adding images to your Google Calendar events

Did you realize that now you will be able to add images to your Display.Church calendar view? Most likely, you do not include images when you create a Google Calendar. Now you can…and put them to excellent use.

If you enabled the Google Drive API , you have now unlocked the option to auto populate your Display.Church events with images.

Display.Church is set up to pull in the first image which is attached to each Google Calendar event. This makes your Display.Church calendar view even more eye-catching and attention-grabbing. And as we know, images are powerful helpers–boosting the messages in our words. Here's how: https://help.display.church/en/articles/6776073-how-to-add-an-image-to-a-gcal-event
